Two Jaw
Two Jaw Surgery is performed in circumstances whereby the following defects are present:
1. Facial Asymmetry
2. Excessive Protrusion of the mouth.
3. Lower mandible is overextended
4. Overly small and receding chin
Two Jaw surgery involves operating on the upper jaw and lower jaw simultaneously. Incisional paths are along both jaws where the function of the jaw is at its deficient region. The facial bones are shifted to meet the overall balanced facial standard of the patient. The degree of facial bone manipulation is highly dependant on patient diagnosis. A dramatic result often follows Two Jaw surgery.
