Breast augmentation surgery is carried out after several consultations with the doctor because the process requires great expertise and tailoring according to the patient. Cohesive Gel (US FDA Approved, a.k.a the “Tear Drop”) is an implant that is approved for its great adaptability and safety and hence is highly preferred by the Korean surgeons. The implant size suitable for Asian women ranges between 125cc and 250cc.
Usually the breast augmentation is carried out by making a cut at the underarm followed by the implant being eased and adjusted into the breast pocket. However, cuts can also be made below the breast or under the nipple depending on the patient. It is imperative that the patient is aware of the care required after the surgery; 3-6 months of specialized massage is required for proper fitting of the implant.

What is Breast Augmentation?
Augmentation mammoplasty, or breast augmentation is surgery to increase the volume, size and shape of the breast. Typically, implants used by the surgeon are silicone, saline or alternative composite implants. The chosen material is then placed strategically under the brease tissues or the chest muscles.
